The most honest ad agency in the world.

Lemons For Sale is a comedy brand that was started in 2017 by Shervin Nakhjavani, a writer and filmmaker who grew up when cars like these were somehow still on every road, driveway, and school parking lot. Even at a young age, he noticed a glaring difference between how the cars were presented in commercials and what people actually said about them in real life.

Alright, fine. Maybe Lemons For Sale isn’t a real ad agency. But it does poke fun at all the ways companies try to get consumers to buy their products (no matter how good or bad the products are). Sometimes the cars in Lemons For Sale deserve the ridicule, and other times they’re simply vehicles for jokes that have nothing to do with the cars themselves.

In any case, Lemons For Sale aims to blend good comedy writing with high production value. The ads are mostly based on real examples of the era, with painstaking attention to detail and faithful recreation of typefaces, colors, textures, and more.

Lemons For Sale is best enjoyed with a wet glass of lemonade and a dry sense of humor.
